Haiku on Fair/ Believe/ Truth/ Seven

Fair

Fair comparison
Gun deaths per hundred thousand
Slightly obvious

Fair words and foul deeds
Cheat wise men as well as fools
So proverbs tell us

Fair work agreement
You do all the washing up
And I'll watch it dry

Believe

Nil desperandum
Believe peace is possible
In the midst of war

The power of mind
Makes you believe in sunshine
On the darkest day

Frog does not believe
There is water in the pond
He jumps anyway

Truth

Truth changes colour
With the tint of your glasses
Rose may be the best

A child's truth changes
Depending on audience
They're trying to please

I love you dearly
Tell you what you want to hear
The truth distorted

Seven

Mormon musical
Seven brides seven brothers
Totals forty-nine

The seven of hearts
Held up till the last minute
My hand full of hearts

Seven drops of rain
Fell out of a clear blue sky
Not really a storm

  1. My favorite is "The power of mind

    Makes you believe in sunshine

    On the darkest day"
